Summer Faculty-Directed Programs

As an International Coordinator for Summer Faculty-Directed Programs, Heather works with faculty and staff in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, and the academic divisions of Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. 

Heather holds a B.F.A. in Art Education from Arizona State University, an M.A. in Art History from Arizona State University, and is currently completing a PhD in Critical Studies in Museums and Cultural Heritage from University of Leeds, UK. During her time as a student, Heather studied abroad in Florence, Italy and has since traveled extensively within Europe, Israel, Thailand, and Costa Rica.  

Heather has spent many years working in the university setting at the University of Leeds, UK where she taught undergraduate students and assisted professors with various research projects. She spent three years in Vienna, Austria teaching study abroad students staying in the city for six weeks in order to strengthen their academic writing skills and knowledge of Vienna's fascinating heritage. Heather lived in the UK, Switzerland and Austria where she developed proficiency in the German language as well as in-depth knowledge of arts and culture.
