Maggie is an International Coordinator in the Partnership & Exchange Programs Unit of the Study Abroad Office. She works directly with students and support staff at ASU, exchange partner institutions, and providers overseas to coordinate the Partnership and Exchange programs in Italy, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Africa.

Originally from Chicago, Maggie holds Bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Spanish from the University of Illinois. While earning her degree in Spanish, she spent a year studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain which forever changed her career path. After graduating, she spent almost a year working in Ecuador as a volunteer coordinator for a non-profit foundation. The experience of living with a host family and bridging the cultural gap between the local indigenous communities and American volunteers further fueled and solidified her passion for international education.

Prior to joining the ASU Study Abroad Office, Maggie coordinated and led the efforts of the study abroad office at Southern Illinois University, gaining a passion for directly serving students in a university setting. She is excited to now be encouraging ASU students to pursue the adventure that is study abroad and experience how the world can become their classroom.
