Abby is an International Coordinator in the Partnership & Exchange Programs Unit of the Study Abroad Office. She works directly with students and support staff at ASU, and exchange partners, institutions, and providers in foreign countries, to coordinate the ASU Partnership and Exchange Study Abroad Programs in Asia and the Middle East.  Abby is also the main point of contact for Incoming Exchange Students from all countries.

Abby is originally from Wisconsin where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English/Secondary Education and worked as a High School English Teacher.  During her undergraduate experience, she participated in a faculty-led study abroad program to Australia/New Zealand.  After teaching, she earned her Master’s Degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education.  During this time, she gained experience working in multiple diversity offices and developed a strong desire to work with college students and cross-cultural experiences.

After completing her Master’s Degree, Abby started at ASU in TRIO Student Support Services as a coordinator, providing academic support to students with disabilities, first-generation students, and low-income students.  Most recently, Abby served as an Academic Success Specialist in the Department of Psychology at Arizona State University, where she advised Psychology majors and minors on program requirements.

Abby has travelled to Thailand, France, Mexico, Canada, The Dominican Republic, and cannot wait to broaden her cultural understandings even further.  More so, she is excited to be working in the ASU Study Abroad Office to support ASU students in fulfilling their desires to experience a global education.
