These scholarships are available to ASU students participating in CIEE Open Campus and Global Internship programs during the Spring 2020 semester. Click here to view available CIEE open campus programs.
*Amount of awards are dependent on the length of the program, and may vary from the amounts listed below:
3-Block Semester (18 weeks/18 credits) = $5,000 award
2-Block Semester (12 weeks/12 credits) = $3,000 award
1-Block Semester (6 weeks/6 credits) = $1,000 award
Global Internship Semester (14 weeks/12 credits) = $3,000 award
To be eligible for a CIEE Open Campus scholarship, applicants must:
Have a minimum cumulative ASU GPA of 2.5 GPA or better at the time of the application
Complete the scholarship essay by September 20, 2019
Be a degree-seeking ASU student at the time of application
Be in good standing with the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities
In order to apply for this scholarship, you must first open an application for a Spring 2020 Open Campus program. Embedded within that program application, you will find an online form that asks you to complete an optional short essay (300-500 words) responding to the following prompt:
Describe how this program will help you reach your academic, professional, and/or personal goals
Recipients will be selected based on the quality and quantity of applications submitted. Financial need and academic standing will also be taken into consideration.
If you withdraw from your program, for any reason (voluntary or involuntary), awards may be revoked. If your award is revoked after funds have been applied to your program fee, you will be billed for the amount of the award through your ASU student account.
Please note, other ASU scholarships and financial aid, along with outside scholarships can also be used to study abroad in addition to these grants.
