Program Description

ISA Study Abroad Planning Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to help students plan ahead!  Each recipient will have five (5) semesters after his/her freshman year to use this award.

This information is updated for the 2020 Study Abroad Planning Scholarship cycle. Please note: ASU students who qualify for the ISA Planning Scholarship will be invited to apply in mid-July 2020.

ISA planning scholarships provide first generation college students with the opportunity to also be the first in their families to study abroad by reducing the financial barrier that may prevent some students from considering this option.  Studying abroad is frequently cited as a milestone in a student’s personal development, and ASU wants to make sure first generation college students have additional funding opportunities to make this dream a reality.
