Academic Program & Courses

Virtual, unpaid internships are available in a wide variety of fields. CAPA will use its extensive network of placement sites around the globe to identify the "best fit" internship site for a student. Placements will be determined based on a student's individual interests, abilities, academic background, and career goals. Example fields and industries include:

Advertising & PR | Business | Communications | Data Analytics | Education | Finance | Fundraising & Philanthropy | Game Design & Development | Graphic Design | Human Resources | Interior Design | IT & Computer Systems | Marketing & Communications | Sports Management | Video Editing & Animation | Web Design

The following fields and industries are expected to have limited placements available, or may have restrictions in place due to the nature of work:

  • Biological Sciences
  • Engineering
  • Healthcare (Telehealth/client interaction)
  • Cyber Security

Online Global Internship Course

All students will complete a 3 credit Online Global Internship Course that complements the hands-on work experience gained through the internship site. This course is taught weekly by academic coaches and mentors. It's designed to guide students in their personal and professional development, alongside their CAPA classmates around the world.
