Student Job Opening: Peer Advisor

Did you have an incredible study abroad experience and are now looking for a job?  The Study Abroad Office is accepting applications for a Peer Advisor to work in our office and inspire other ASU students to study abroad. The position will begin in May 2015 and is a rewarding and exciting opportunity to develop professional skills.  Responsibilities include advising students in person, via phone, and e-mail, conducting presentations in the Study Abroad Office and classrooms, providing support at orientations and special events, and assisting with clerical tasks.  Peer Advisors will work 20-40 hours/week during Summer 2015 and continue to work in the office during AY 2015-2016 (or longer) for 12-15 hours/week.  Experience in leading presentations, advising one on one, professional written communication, graphic/web design, or working in an office setting a plus, though not required.  Peer Advisors must be current ASU students who have previously studied abroad on an ASU Study Abroad Office program.
