Announcement: Remembering Jared Maillet

The Arizona State University Study Abroad Office is deeply saddened by the tragic death of Jared Maillet, an ASU senior majoring in sustainability and urban planning who fell during a hike in the United Kingdom. Jared was on an ASU exchange program at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom at the time of the accident.

Jared is remembered by many as a mature, bright, driven and knowledge-hungry student who was a delight to be around.  He is survived by his three sisters (Christie, Anna, and Marie) as well as his father (Leo), step-mother (Mary) and niece (Desiree).

Counseling services for those who knew Jared are being made available to the university community.
