This program draws from the wide range of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella's faculty expertise, concentrating on the specific conditions for business in Argentina. It is designed for MBA students with an international focus, interested in learning how to understand business opportunities in Latin America, particularly in Argentina.

BUENOS AIRES
The trip includes corporate visits and social events with UTDT MBA students as well as cultural activities including a tour of the historical city center and a day long visit to a traditional Argentine estancia in San Antonio de Areco in the Las Pampas region.
Eligibility
Enrollment is limited to students currently enrolled in the ASU W.P. Carey School of Business MBA Graduate Program. Prospective participants should contact Maria Gotes Ceballos directly at 480-965-7771 or via e-mail at maria.gotes@asu.edu for application instructions. Those MBA students who have already been selected to participate must submit an application with a $983 first payment ($100 nonrefundable) by December 21st.
Academic Program
The course covers subjects such as Argentinean socio-cultural environment; foreign trade: Mercosur, U.S., and Europe; marketing; legal and fiscal system; and business strategy in Argentina. All participants will enroll in one Spring 2008 class, IBS 594: CW: Doing Business in Argentina (1), and the following 2 credit hour Summer 2008 study abroad course for a grand total of 3 credit hours:

Living Accommodations
Hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy. Breakfast is included daily.
Cost Information
The cost of $2950 (subject to possible change) includes: round trip airfare from Phoenix to Buenos Aires (you must travel as a group but you may have the option to change your return itinerary for an extra fee), limited local transportation, hotel accommodations (based on double occupancy), breakfast daily, academic related expenses, and an International Student Identification Card (ISIC). Not included: ASU tuition and fees, lunches and dinners (approximately $20/day), and personal expenses.
The Program may allow for time which can be spent in non-Program activities. Participants may wish to travel, sightsee, or participate in activities or events in which they have a personal interest. Please note that the participant is fully responsible for making arrangements and for all costs of transportation, lodging, food and additional expenses that may be associated with any non-Program activities.
